Review:
This time, Michael Bay showcases us the darkest side and the final installment of the madly awaited Transformers; Dark of the Moon. The main actor Shia LaBeouf returns as Sam Witwicky with new hot girlfriend Carly Spencer played by Rosie Huntington Whiteley. The first part of the plot and scene is very exciting, enjoyable and humorous. As X-Men First Class uses Cold War as part of its main plot, Transformers brilliantly changes the history of Appollo 11 landing on the moon in 1969. Sadly, the subsequent plot of the last 1 hour becomes boring with tons of robots fighting. The is the worst disadvantage of watching Transformer in 2D. As it was filmed with 3D technology instead of doing it post-production, Transformers is better watched in its original 3D form.

Vision 2020 Legend of Legends

While I was daydreaming on my bed this early Saturday morning, my eyes caught a motivating quotes from old newspaper printout on top of my mirror table. Vision 2020, Legend of Legends. By 2020, I will be 39 years old. When Tun Dr.Mahathir introduced his brainchild "Vision 2020" to the public, I had thought I would be having my own family with my children by 39 years old as our country attains her status of developed country.

Today with my current life style, I am appalled to re-realize it has been worse and at risk of diverting away from what I would want my life to be like in the year 2020. I love what I am doing now as a salaryman yet have to endure another 16 months of underpaid contract. Consequently, my financial positive flow is "more than enough" to get me think twice if not thrice when I want to get my new toy or own my first home.

Hence, I shall be continuing my weekend daydream to forget my anguish at the moment....

片仮名(一) / Katakana (1)

Japanese writing system consists of three forms namely hiragana (平仮名), katakana (片仮名) and kanji (漢字). Katakana is generally used to translate a foreign word into Japanese word phonetically. It never cease to amaze me to discover how katakana translates any foreign words into Japanese words. Below are katakana which I learned from my window shopping at Cold Storage, The Centrepoint @Somerset.

Parking coupon @Orchard

I was walking through an open car park area in Orchard when a lady asked me for help. "Hi, do you have parking coupon to sell me?" Apparently she was not familiar as to where to buy a parking coupon in Orchard when she needed it most at the moment. I proudly used a universal powerful "NO" to answer her. "No, I don't have car coupon." I replied her before leaving the area.

I didn't even tell her that I don't own any car in Singapore. LOL :-)
