Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2012 (STGCC)

I missed the last year STGCC because of my job. Thanks to my twitter connection, I only knew about STGCC 2012 a day before its first day and attended STGCC 2012 last day which was held at Marina Bay Sands Convention Center. Other than the thriller of enjoying the best of Eastern & Western toys, games and comics, I am astonished with the debut performance of Piko in Singapore. In fact it was his first public performance in South East Asia.

Anime Festival Asia 2011: By 9.00am, a long queue had already been formed towards the redemption counter. Luckily I had bought and redempted the entrance ticket a day before. The entrance to the largest Anime Convention in South East Asia opened shortly after my arrival. To my surprise, the morning crowd on the last day was much lesser than that of previous year AFAX.

Anime Festival Asia 2011 - AFA11 (Preview IV)

Anime Festival Asia 2011 is bringing back a huge human traffic at Suntec City Convention Level 4 on day two. As a banquet is being held at the atrium on the same level, cosplayers choose to hang out at the corridor along the AFA halls, thus worsening the traffic flow as compared to last year event. I managed to get "I LOVE ANISONG" concert+Festival+Stage Sunday ticket for tomorrow session with Kalafina (カラフィナ), May'n, Milky Holmes, angela & Itou Kanako. Looking forward to my first Japanese anime song concert!

Anime Festival Asia 2011 - AFA11 (Preview III)

Anime Festival Asia 2011 is bringing back Atelier Royale Cafe and Moe Moe Kyun Maid Cafe due to popular demand.

Atelier Royale Cafe lines up new faces of well dressed butlers with this year theme namely "Wonderland". Catering to female customers only, patrons will be pampered like princesses with food and good looking "servants".

As for male patrons, be ready for young and beautiful maids to serve you food at Moe Moe Kyun Maid Cafe. More exciting to line up of new faces, four special guests will also make appearance as Moe Moe Kyun Maids.

Anime Festival Asia 2011 will be held on a special day this year; 11.11.11 for three continuous days from 11th Nov (Friday) to 13th Nov (Sunday). Ticketing info including I Love Anisong concert is now available. Let's Go!

Singapore Anime Festival Asia 2010 (AFAX)

Half year has passed since the last Anime Festival Asia 2010 held at Suntec City 12-14 Nov 2010. The sensation and excitement of this 3-days festival was remarkably unforgettable as we were pampered with J-pop cultures ranging from Ani-song and movies to anime and ani-song artist meetup with fans plus regional cosplay championship within South East Asia.

In fact, this festival is even bigger than Toy, Game & Comic Convention (TGCC). It turns out to be one of the biggest world anime convention in terms of the number of booths, variety of programs and honored guests from Japan.  Looking forward to AFAX 2011!

STGCC 2011 is coming this August with the coolest event ever. As typical, cosplay comes along. Can't wait to meet our favorite toy, game & comic icons like R2-D2, Dark Troops, Naruto & many more live at Suntec City.
